Yes! This is for real. I (WooWoo) snapped this picture today while driving down Virginia Beach Boulevard. This mom is ready for the SnowStorm of 2010. Are you?! I’m heading to the grocery store after work…Be Safe!

MTV’s Snooki is “Snookin for Love”. No – for real. She is. Snooki became the center of Reality TV show attention when her show “Jersey Shore” debuted on MTV earlier this year. The entire cast of “Jersey Shore” is now demanding MTV pay them $10,000 an episode for Season 2. J-WOW and The Situation have settled their contracts…but Snooki is holding out. And she wants to branch out too! Snooki is pitching a dating game show to VH1 & MTV called…”Snookin for Love”. So far – no one is interested.

I don’t even want to TALK about it! My steel will is non-existent. I went out to a gourmet Southern restaurant Thursday night and I SERIOUSLY thought I could control myself. I was absolutely obnoxious. I practically licked my plate and the plates of those around me.
                              
As soon as I found out we have this photo shoot, I dropped a quick 5. But let me be honest. I let myself go a little in 2009 and I put on 15, so I still have 10 to go. I knew I wouldn’t lose that with a week to go before the shoot, but I figured I could drop another 1 or 2. But STUPID ME goes and agrees to one lunch and dinner after another. I tell them all, “Oh, but I have to be good! I have to eat chicken breast and broccoli!” But nobody wants you to be good. They don’t even TRY to give you a dirty look when you sneak in a little something-something that is covered in cheese and goo. They secretly want you to fail. I know this. And these are my FRIENDS!!!!
                                         
But it’s my fault. I should say no to even scheduling these things in the first place. But I went out to lunch on Wednesday…lunch and a dinner on Thursday…I’m going out to lunch and dinner on Friday…I’ve got a kid’s birthday party on Saturday AND Sunday. How could I do this to myself?? And how much does it cost to photoshop???

In a new “tell all interview” with Oprah Winfrey – NBC talk show host Jay Leno said he has not spoken to Conan O’Brien since the whole switcheroo. Jay said they might talk soon when things cool down, and he was devastated when NBC moved him from 11:30pm to 10pm. The interview with Oprah aired today at 4pm on ABC Channel 13.

And from 1 network to another – ABC announced yesterday that they are cancelling “Ugly Betty”! UGH! I loooved that show. Darn it. Betty Suarez is the sh*t. I loved that America Ferrara. The show aired for 4 seasons. ABC will also lose another A list actress…thankfully the entire show isn’t going “bye bye”. Actress Ellen Pompeo from “Grey’s Anatomy” comfirmed she will be leaving the show at the end of her contract. Her contract ends next year.

Congrats to actor Will Ferrell & his wife…they became parents for the 3rd time. Will’s wife gave birth to their son Axel Ferrell last Saturday in LA. Axel joins big brothers Magnus & Mattias.

This came as NO surprise…ex-Presidential canidate & NC Senator John Edwards confirmed he IS the father of that 2 year old little girl. The mother is Rielle Hunter – the woman he had an affair with. He denied that affair too! Geez. And now in the new issue of People Magazine, John’s soon to be ex-wife Elizabeth confirmed she & her husband have legally separated. As they should…he’s a loser! And he needs to keep his “Tar Heel” to himself, if ya’ know what I mean.

And finally – here’s pics from this morning’s car accident that involved actress Renee Zellweger and an older lady. Renee was visiting her boyfriend’s house, when she hopped back in her Prius to head home & a woman in a BMW SUV ran into the car & clipped the passenger side door. Eeeek! Glad Renee is safe though. And I hope she has car insurance. HA!

So I’m sitting in my office…listening to some POINT music. I have a Gavin Degraw CD playing right now. Whatever happened to him? Gosh – he is soo talented. I love his voice. I’m listening to and LOVING the song “Nice to Meet You Anyway”. He reminds me of James Morrison. Another POINT artist…who, after I met him & heard him perform a song – I was sold. His song was McCoy & I’s “1st Dance” song at our wedding. The song is called “You Give Me Something”. I love a good slow jam. Feel free to play the YouTube videos below & listen to the 2 songs. Hey friends! I’m back to blogging…and feeling better than I was earlier this week when I tried to blog. I was just having “1 of those days”. A day only the ladies will understand! Am I right? HA!

So this week has been much better…Chuck returned from vacation. I’m VERY happy he’s back. I missed my Chuck – but I was glad he had some time off & spent an amazing couple of days at Great Wolf Lodge with his kids. Check out Chuck’s blog for video & pics. Soo cute!

My older brother Matthew has been in town this week. Matthew, his wife and 3 kids moved to Memphis back in July, and he hasn’t been home since.  We miss them soo much – and it was a treat to have him back this week. Even if he was in town for work – he’s a detailer in the Navy, so he has been busy all week!! But we were able to grab dinner Monday night at No Frill Grill and last night at Fellini’s. Good times! That’s a pic of my 2 big brothers below. Matthew & Michael. Yes – they are twins. Identical twins. And guess what? My mom is a twin too! So does that mean I will have twins one day? Hmmm….we will see. PS – Michael is on the left, Matthew on right.

 OK – why is “Woo crazy for Lu”??!! I’ve blogged about it before…this yoga/gym clothing company called Lululemon. They sell the most amazing clothes for you to wear to the gym, lounging around the house, to yoga or pilates. The best!!!! So comfy & totally “sweat friendly”. I don’t own as much Lululemon as I would like, cause it is a little $$$$. But it’s worth it to buy 1 pair of pants & a tank. And now I think I have to buy this cute hoodie…with THUMBHOLES!

Chuck came across a story today about the Pope’s new book, and how he used to beat himself naked when he sinned. And he beat himself naked with a BELT! WOW. Honestly – it sounds like a good book. A great read. But Chuck had a valid point…he is fine not knowing the Pope used to do that.

As for me…I was fine not knowing or SEEING actress Mo’Nique walk the red carpet and show off her hairy legs. It happened about 2 weeks ago at the Golden Globe Awards in LA. Mo’Nique is a very talented actress – and she won an award that night for her role in the movie “Precious”. But I was fine not knowing or seeing her hairy legs. And look - I get it Mo’Nique…I forget to shave all the time. But dang…I don’t show off my hairy pits. That reminds me…I’m outta shaving cream. HA!
