0-13 DAYS…that’s when Maggie should hopefully arrive! My due date is 13 days away – March 13th! But some of my friends and co-workers said I need to stop saying “I have ___ days left”. They say I can go any day now. So – here we are, waiting. That is the hardest part is the wait. I wake up 100 times a night wondering if my water broke. And it hasn’t. Mmmm…when will Miss Maggie decide to show up. We are ready! The nursery is ready. I’ve got all the paperwork ready to go – I’m adding her to my insurance – and I just got all the paperwork for that. So it’s back to waiting…waiting…waiting.

The warm weather is beginning to trickle back in!!! Lets hear it for Mother Nature!!!!  The kids and I went boating this weekend at Northwest River Park; a good time was had by all.  As usual, I had the camera in tow….so, here we go!

When the weather breaks in Hampton Roads…it just cannot be beat.  We hit Norwest River Park at noon and did not leave until the sun began hiding behind the tall trees of the west.   By the time the day was over, I was sure they would sleep like rocks for their mother as I returned them home after a Dad-weekend.

Total activities at the park:   2 hours on a paddle boat, 2.6 mile Hike, an hour at the park at the end of the trail, 3 sandwiches, a candy bar, and 4 low sugar Capri-Suns later….snores were heard in the back seat as we made the long dive back to the southside.

Bring it, Ma Nature….We are ready!

Last night was Hollywood’s biggest night – it’s like prom for a bunch of celebrities. And it did disappoint. Anne Hathaway and James Franco were the worst hosts ever. Boring. Not funny. And the show moved slower than Miss Goodman’s 3^rd grade class turtle. “The King’s Speech” won Best Film, Natalie Portman won Best Actress, and Colin Firth was named Best Actor.

Actor Charlie Sheen will sit down for an exclusive interview this morning on the Today Show and Good Morning America. The interviews were pre-recorded over the weekend. And when asked of he was on sober or on any drugs, Charlie Sheen said the only drug he was on was himself. OK then. Another interview will air Tuesday night on ABC. I’ll be watching that for sure!

Actor Kelsey Grammer tied the knot for the 4^th time on Friday. This time marrying a flight attendant 25 years younger. The wedding cost over a million dollars and in his wedding toast – Kelsey said he 1^st fell in love with his wife’s long neck. I’m serious – that is what he said. His exact words. Scary!

CBS has cancelled Charlie Sheen’s TV show “2 and A Half Men”…well, they have cancelled it forever – but filming of this season has stopped. This after Charlie went on a radio show and trash talked the shows producer. After hearing the show was cancelled…Charlie then wrote an open letter and emailed it to every media outlet in the world. Here is Charlie’s letter to the media:

What does this say about Haim Levine [Chuck Lorre] after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me. I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows … I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can’t handle my power and can’t handle the truth. I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words — imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists. I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong.

Yes – I might be pregnant & craving pizza, chocolate and Ritz Crackers (random – I know!!) but I am also craving NEW SHOES! And new clothes. And I can’t wait to wear real jeans and blouses and just wear normal clothes again. But really – I know that getting into the skinny jeans I wore pre-baby is gonna take a while. So instead of drooling over cute clothes, I thought I would drool over cute shoes. Bring on Spring/Summer! Here’s my list of current shoe cravings:

And just an FYI…the brand “OPI Nail Polish” has new colors of polish out just in time for Spring/Summer! McCoy treated me to a mani/pedi at Changes City Spa last week and I went right for the pinks. I love PINK! The new line is called “TEXAS”. Here’s the colors:

OK – that’s it from me for today. I AM EXHAUSTED! Totally hitting the wall in this last month of pregnancy. I need to go home and sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Not to mention – I had a 37 Week check up with the doctor yesterday. And it was NO fun! I am going to ice my lady parts now. Sorry if that is too much info…but when they check your cervix, they CHECK YOUR CERVIX! It didn’t hurt, just uncomfy and it has made me sore. Me no likey cervix checks. UGH!

La Lohan is looking at 6 months in jail. Lindsay was in an LA courtroom (again!) yesterday to face the charges that she stole a #2500 necklace from a jewelry store. She of course debies the charges, but video surveillance says otherwise. Her attorney is trying to cop a plea that involves NO jail time…but Linds violated her probatio, and will more than likely serve time in the clink.

American Idol wittled the Top 40 down to the Top 24 last night…but there could be 1 lucky guy out there who gets called in to replace an ailing Casey Abrams. Casey was rushed to an LA ER yesterday after complaining of severe stomach pains. That sucks!! Really bad…because if Casey is too sick to perform on Friday, they will send him home & replace him with another contestant. So bad news for Casey, good news for someone who got the boot last night.

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon will be parents anyday now…and Nick is admitting that his wife soent close to $1 million dollars preparing for the birth of their twins. OK – I know I spent a good chunk of change on Maggie…but how in the heck do you spend $1 million?!?!?! Nick says the cribs alone cost $20,000 a piece. HOLY SH*T.

Here comes the bride…and the Crypt Keeper. I kid, I kid. But Hugh Hefner will marry his much younger fiance this summer. The 84 year old Hugh & his 24 year old gal pal confirmed the wedding will be held June 18th at the Playboy Mansion.

And it looks like actor Charlie Sheen’s road to sobriety ended on the tarmac. Charlie and 3 lovely ladies took off in a private jet yesterday bound for the Bahamas. Charlie, a 24 year old “adult film star”, a woman who claims to be his “nanny” and his ex-wife Brooke boarded the plane at a private airport in LA. Word on the street is…they are headed for a boozy weekend in the Bahamas. And there’s also rumors that Charlie is dating both the film star and the nanny. Why is the ex-wife on the trip? I have NO idea…

While we wait for Maggie to arrive – there are officially 17 days until her “due date”…I keep wondering if Baby #1 will get along with Baby #2. And of course, I am talking about MURPHY! I consider him my 1st born. Dogs are kids too ya know! They just have 4 legs and bark at strangers. I was tempted to buy a book about how to get the dog to adjust to the baby, but I think we will figure it out on our own. There are only so many books I can read…between Baby Wise, What to Expect and a BreastFeeding book – I can’t read anymore!

What a way to start a Wednesday!! My co-worker Amy just dropped off the most beautifully wrapped package in the studio. It is GORGEOUS! The pink ribbon is even to pretty for me to throw away. Who is this pink package from? The ladies at SIMPLY SELMA’S!! WOO HOO! I looove Simply Selma’s. I have been shopping there for years. Thanks again to the ladies at Simply Selma’s! I’ve had about a dozen co-workers come in to the POINT studio to take a look (and a feel!) of this blanket. It is sooo soft.
