Over the weekend, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield teamed up with our favorite charity CHKD and helped organize over 400 Lemon Ade stands with proceeds benefitting Childrens Cancer research. Sunday the big money collection was held at Kangaroo Jac’s in Chesapeake! What a blast!

I live at the zoo…

I don’t know what it is about my house, but for some reason animals love it. I’ll start off with my roof rats that came to visit and were VERY hard to get rid of. I didn’t want to post any pics of them. They are creepy. But a few months ago we had a nest of duck eggs. One day, they hatched. I love the last one who just won’t give up!…
..and then last weekend, right beside our house, built on a ladder we have hanging up…. birdies!

TIPS FOR A HAPPY MARRIAGE
Here are some Tips for a Happy Marriage:
1. Weird in-laws get even weirder over time.
2. There are two schools of thought on birthdays: the “it’s not a big deal” school and the “yay for meee!” school. The former gets a card. The latter celebrates the Season of the Birthday, which can go on for quite a long time. Figure out which one you’re married to, and be ready.
3. It’s better to keep listening to those stories and laughing at those jokes rather than remind him he’s told them to you a million times.
4. Don’t complain about the way he does the dishes. Just be thankful he does them.
5. Your husband really doesn’t remember your clothes. If you call attention to anything new, you’re a fool.
Here’s a few of mine..please add on if you have one or two…or three…
- leave your Blackberry in the car when dining out. (big trouble!)
- guys flirt all the time, we just don’t know it…… ; )
